Your Trainer Debra Fentress  is a Master Trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programming, certified Hypnotherapist and certified Spiritual Counselor. Debra has studied with Hank Wesselman (author of Spiritwalker), with Helen Bangs, Kumu Etua Lopez and her own American Indian ancestors. Why Sedona Arizona?   In Shamanism as well as many other spiritual disciplines throughout the ages the energy field of our planet has been referred to as a “matrix” or “web of life”. Comprised of the gravitational and electromagnetic fields, there are places of power in which the energy from these fields is considered to be particularly strong. Sedona is one of these Places of Power.   Specific rock formations in Sedona are focal points of this power, which we call Vortices. These Vortices have a force or electromagnetic charge that can be of either a negative or positive energy. The energy of the Vortices affects both our physical and spiritual bodies. During the training, you will learn how to open yourself to experiencing the different “energies” of the various Vortices.   The electric Vortices are best experienced at Bell Rock and the Airport Vortex. The Cathedral Rock is a magnetic vortex and Boynton Canyon contains both positive and negative charges. We will visit these Vortices, as well as others, during our field trip.

All the Vortices are sacred grounds. We will enter each area with the proper respect and reverence for the land, the energy and those who have come before us. Much of this land is still used for ceremony. Where appropriate we will have meditations and ceremonies and will leave the area as we found it.   Bell Rock is the only Vortex that actually resembles the cone shaped energy associated with a vortex. Called the “Eye of the Vortex’, Bell Rock is a focal point on the energy grid of the planet. Many Medicine Wheel ceremonies are preformed here due to the powerful groundwave of energy circulating at the base. As you climb up Bell Rock, you can feel the energy spiraling and gaining in strength until you reach the summit or the spirit of the Eagle. It is here that you can connect to the Sun.   Boynton Canyon is famous for it’s “mysterious presence”. More than just a vortex---it is considered a place between the worlds. This is sacred ground to the Indians who believe an earth spirit Goddess resides here. The rock spire at the mouth of the canyon, known as Kachina Woman, is the power spot of the Canyon and considered a magical place to connect with the electrical earth energy. As we move deeper into the Canyon it is as if we are diving deeper into the womb of the Mother.

Probably the easiest energy to sense is at the Airport Vortex. This Vortex literally hangs in the air between two small hills. Visiting the Airport Vortex will start energizing the central nervous system and the subtle energy system of the body. Many people find their psychic abilities sharpen during their time here.   By far the most famous Vortex, Cathedral Rock is known as the place of dream activation. Legend has it that a spiritual master works with those who visit Cathedral Rock seeking enlightenment and healing. A magnetic Vortex, the earth energies are particularly powerful here allowing for balancing and healing energy to take place.   To sign up for this training please click here.
